We are looking for volunteers to help us gain more visibility on our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Someone who is able to help us optimize our pages and grow engagement within our community.

Tasks Include:

• Batching content for Facebook and Instagram

• Turning Facebook Posts into Instagram content (Using our templates in Canva)

• Creating content for Instagram such as reels and posts (using content from Facebook or our website).

• Creating engagement posts for both Instagram and Facebook

• Help us gain visibility on Facebook through content and marketing
   

Bonus: If you're able to help us create and manage a Tiktok account.

Applicants Must:

• Be willing to work with a team

• Keep content on brand

• Creativity is a huge asset!

• Committed to at least 1 hour per week

Our transport volunteers are the ones who bring a rescue dog (or supplies) from one place to the other.

Tasks Include:

• Driving dogs to appointments if the foster is unable

• Working closely with our team on transport days to get dogs to their adopters and foster homes

Applicants Must:

• Have their own vehicle & valid drivers license

• Be reliable

• Be able to safely secure dogs in your vehicle during transportation

• Be comfortable handling dogs

Do you have some space open in your home and your heart, to take care of a foster dog? This is a great opportunity for those who want to work closely with the dogs and prepare them for their furever family. 

​

Tasks Include:

• Providing love, shelter and snuggles to a foster dog

• Meet and greets with potential adopters

• Participating in fundraising or adoption events (if it works with your schedule)

• Sending photos, videos and updates on your foster dog

• Promoting your foster dog on social media (and tag us!)

• Giving your foster dog basic training and obedience skills

• LOVE DOGS!!

 

We need a few committed people to coordinate and manage fundraisers so we are able to support the dogs. 

 

Tasks Include: 

• Monitoring and organizing events (online and in-person)

• Researching and identifying fundraising opportunities

• Keeping records and goal-setting

Qualities we are looking for:

• Flexible, committed, creative and open-minded

• Works well on a team

• Passionate about rescuing dogs

• Comfortable networking on the phone, online and in person

• Strong time management and organization skills

 

Bonus: If you have previous fundraising or managment experience and are willing to help us learn!

If you're someone who wants to help out but doesn't have a lot of free time, this may be for you! Calling references during a break at work or while you're cooking dinner can be a huge help for us to process application more quickly. This is extremely flexible as long as you are making an effort!

• Calling applicant references for fostering or adopting

• Asking references a list of questions and recording notes from the phone call

• Updating spreadsheet
